"Ma'am That Is Not You" The DMV Clerk Refused To Stamp My License Until I Told Her My Secret

Last Tuesday I waited two hours at the DMV to renew my license.
When I finally got to the window the clerk looked at my old license. Then at me. Then back at the license.
"Ma'am I can't accept this."
"Excuse me?"
"The woman in this photo is 62."
"I am 62."
"You are not 62."
She turned the card around and tapped the photo.
"Look at the mouth in this photo. Those lines are not on your face."
"Because I fixed them."
"You cannot fix that."
"I have been in this line two hours."
"I cannot verify this document."
"Verify what? My own face?"
"Ma'am lower your voice."
"This is my voice. Get me your supervisor."
"Ma'am."

A minute later an older woman walked over. Her name tag said Marilyn.
She looked at the photo. She looked at me.
"It's her."
"It's not."
"Denise it's her. Look at the photograph."
"I am looking at the photograph."
Marilyn leaned over the counter.
"Ma'am what did you do?"
"I need my paper stamped."
"Surgery. You had surgery."
"No."
"Botox. It's Botox. I know Botox."
"No."
"Fillers. Threads. One of those lasers."
"No."
"Then it's makeup. Which one? The Armani?"
"It's not the Armani."

"No."
